Nick Tuzzolino
Woodworking Biography:

I started general woodworking classes at Cerritos College about ten years ago and eventually enrolled in a turning class. My first Lathe was a Jet 1236 which I used it for about 6 years and then graduated to a Powermatic 3520B.  I plan on making larger projects. I like segmented and open segmented turning mainly because of the extra challenges that  go with it.  I make everything from bottle stoppers to anything that a relative might want. Cherry and walnut are my favorites to turn but others surely are more beautiful, such as the spalted and burls when properly finished. I do this purely for enjoyment and give everything away. I enjoy our club mostly for the openness of members and willingness to share knowledge.  Sometimes I learn as much ion the breaks as in from lectures.
